Who is responsible

OddsCapo operates oddscapo.com and is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@oddscapo.com.

What we collect

Account data: if you create an account we store your email address, authentication identifiers and the preferences tied to your account (favorite leagues, bookmaker selection, odds format).

Usage data: if you accept analytics cookies we collect aggregated statistics about pages viewed, device type, approximate region and referring source.

Technical data: server logs contain IP address, user agent and timestamps and are used for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.

Content you submit: bet slips you build or share, and public mentions sent to our @OddsCapo account on X when you ask the bot for odds.

Why we process it and legal basis

To provide the service (contract): accounts, saved preferences, bet slips and shared slip links.

To keep the service secure and working (legitimate interest): logging, rate limiting, fraud and abuse prevention.

To measure and improve the site (consent): analytics cookies, which stay disabled until you accept them in the cookie banner.

To comply with legal obligations where applicable.

Affiliate links

When you click an odds button or a bookmaker link you are forwarded to the bookmaker through a tracking link. The bookmaker and its affiliate network may set their own cookies and become the controller of the data they collect – their own privacy policy applies from that point. We receive only aggregated commission reporting, never your name, account details or betting history.

Sharing

We use processors to run the service: hosting and database/authentication infrastructure, analytics (Google Analytics 4, only after consent), and AI providers used to interpret bet-builder requests. Bet-slip text sent to an AI provider is processed to return a suggestion and is not used to build a profile of you. We never sell personal data.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some processors operate in third countries. Such transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Retention

Account data is kept while the account exists and is deleted when you delete it. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes. Odds data and match history are not personal data. Analytics data is retained according to the Google Analytics retention setting (14 months).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent you can withdraw it at any time – for analytics, use the cookie banner or clear the site data in your browser.

To exercise a right, email hello@oddscapo.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Sweden: Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, imy.se).

Age limit

OddsCapo is intended for adults (18+) only. We do not knowingly process personal data about children.
